Finishing dinner, you both worked alongside each other to clean up the kitchen and dining area. Dinner made by Sofia was

delicious because of her culinary skills and her specialty with goats milk and cheese.
As you two were watching the news her phone beeped and as she read it over her eyes widen and she abruptly stood
up.

"Oh! Silly me! I suck! Natalya called ten minutes ago and I missed it! If it wasn't for her text I would've never notice!"

"What does the fox text say?"

"She's asking for me to go and get her because apparently she's shy to ask for Vash and Erika's help. Isn't
she adorable?"

"Oh! Then you better go, I'll be fine and wait here, it isn't my first time in this sitch."
She smiled and hugged you tight apparently forgetting about her deadlines in terms of hugs as she felt grateful
for your understanding.

"A-air! Sofia! Choking! Not b-breathing!"

"Oh sorry! I'll go now okay? The drive to and from will be 45 minutes given that there will be no traffic. Call
me if you need anything okay? I'll be using my ear piece as I know you are
against texting while driving because it apparently is dangerous."
"Silly Sofia, I'm glad you remember that, don't worry about me, be careful on the road, be alert, and yes no
texting, and use your seat belt." You helped her with her coat and handbag
towards the car.
 
She put the car on reverse as you opened the gate for her car as she successfully faced the driveway towards the
Zwingli and Vogel household and through her window she poked her head out, "I
will so no worries! Also, Nik will probably be back in ten minutes just so you
know. Bye~"






               After your girl friend went away, you laid on the huge plush sofa and stared at the
ceiling on the living room. Without her the house was engulfed in quiet hush of
the evening and you have nothing to do aside from watching the television but it's
boring at the moment because you are alone and all the shows are drama at this
time so it's a no .
               A thud came from the hallway so you quickly sat up and started to check it out but as
soon as you step a foot outside the room you were pushed against the wall with
an object poking your fluffy belly.
               "N-Nikolai is that you?" with your heart thumping faster than it's supposed to because of
anxiousness your voice got small with added stuttering. The pressure on your
body and the poking object on your belly slowly decreased until it disappeared
completely and the light in the living room went on.
               "What the h--- are you doing here with the all the lights turned off?!" the lad with ever
mysterious mood swings questioned you as he made himself relaxed on the lazy boy chair.
         

                  "Sorry Nikolai, I was with Sofia earlier and we were about to sleep after watching the news but Nat text-ed for her help and so she left to go to Vash's and so I'm left here and uh... I wanted to save energy?"
              Folding your legs up in the sofa you occupied earlier you sheepishly smiled at your crush. Yes, crush, you can't help it if the archer of love decided to shoot the darn arrow and with Fest tying you to him with the red string of faith making you unable to escape. 'Ha! Red string of faith? I wish. Nik is athletic, handsome,has eyes that mesmerize, has an alluring voice, he knows how to fight, and he's a tsun-tsun.  He has a lot of girls ogling him wanting his attention and I'm sure one has caught his interest already.' I'm fluffy, my hair isn't long and flowing like cornsilk, my eyes don't emit moe factor, my skin is healthy but nothing special, and basically, my over-all appearance is just average. Plus, have I mentioned I'm fluffy?'

          "...back from lalala land?" Nikolai's voice tugged you back to reality and made you blink owlishly. Blood rushed to your cheeks as your mind registered that you are both... alone... here... at the house... even though you know that there is a lot of percentage that there nothing is going to happen between the both of you the feelings of hope, nervousness and doki-doki won't leave your chest. Time with Nik is time with him after all.

           "Have you eaten supper yet Nik?"

           "No, I hurried on my way, news said that heavy rain will ensue right around this time."

           "Oh! Then wait for a while and I'll fix some for you." You walked hurriedly to the kitchen and start heating the left-overs from earlier after preparing the pans.






           Fifteen minutes passed and everything is ready. All the pans are cleaned and placed away and the table is set and ready! Just in time too! Nikolai walked in , "Big sister Sofia called, she wanted to check up on you and also, it started to rain heavily there making it hard to travel. She along with Nat will stay there until morning for safety."

           "Oh! Thank you, I'll cal-"

           "Her battery is low so she'll shut her phone off, you can get clothes from her room and she'll call tomorrow morning before going on their way back here. Don't try to go home as the rain will get here soon."

           
           'Aww. Is he worried? That-'

           "That's what big sister said." Short,clipped and to the point....

           "Oh, then I'll leave so you can dine in peace." You felt disappointed there, you thought that he cared but it just won't happen huh?

      "...stay..."

           "...ah?" You looked back but saw him sipping soup so it was just your imagination probably.

         
              As Nik said, the rain came and how soon it was indeed! It's cat's and dogs out there featuring the lighting and thunder!








    You're in the bathroom washing your face with soap when all of a sudden a loud Boom resonated in the area which surprised a scream out of your vocal chords.
           Footsteps could be heard approaching your position as you sit there on the floor in pain.

           "Oi! What happened?" barged Nikolai in the room and saw tears cascade down your cheeks as you felt the sting worsen. Apparently because of your surprise, your hand brushed to your eyes when you jumped.
         
"W-water," you croaked and searched for the sink, Nikolai with his sharp as knives brain concluded the events and supported you to stand. You heard the flow of water and felt him turn your body. "Hold still." You felt the cold water on you face as he help you in your predicament. Your eyes sting but  his warm hand that cupped your left cheek provided a good distraction.
       The soap got washed out finally but sadly the aftershock is still there... His hand held yours and tugged you gently.
       After a while, you felt him push you down on a plushy things where in you sat with tilted head.

       "Thanks Nikolai."

       "I don't get you."

       Slowly you opened your eyes and face him, "Hah?"

       "You act so friendly towards me, you aren't intimidated with me, you aren't afraid either! I just pointed my knife at you and you still smiled at me after it!"

       An upset Nikk is an upset Belarusian. His eyes are watery, his fists curled in tightly, his eyebrows furrowed and his lower lip bitten. You know of the rumors, his background and the what-not but you don't care! You know the truth, you know his love for his family and him following Anya is a way he expresses himself, he follows her until he knows she gets to her destination safely and the same goes to Nat and Sofia too! You know because you saw him quite a few times when Sofia meets up with you. He just worries for their safety! He's just misunderstood by others. You really hate those who judge others without knowing anything. They have flaws too so they could go ang shut it!

       Your pondering helped you decide and smiled albeit small, you faced your body towards him and took a big breathe. "Nikolai, listen to me and hear me out through the end please?"

       "You aren't scary, you are very attractive in all honesty, you thought I was a thief and it's only a natural reaction and it's understandable. I guess I act so friendly towards you because I feel so much comfy in your presence and I want to make you feel the same. I did felt intimidated at first because you glared at me a lot before but I know that you only wanted to protect your family and before I know it, I started feeling happy and secured and free when I'm with you and it erased all of the intimidation! I really like you Nikolai. I know its probably weird for you to hear your sister's friend say this to you. I mean, I'm not asking you to feel the same way, although that would be nice, I just wanted to confess and get this load off of my chest and did you notice that confess and chest somehow sounds the same? I know that a lot of girls look at you and wants your attention badly especially your school mates and maybe someone already took your interest and I know that my chances are slim which is the opposite of my body which is fluffy and I am just rambling now and I feel so nervous right now! What do I do? This doesn't have anything to do with your question I know but -" your explanation turned rambling got cut with his gloved hand placed over your lips. If possible, your blush became even more prominent with his gaze and touch.

       You nodded and felt the urge to look at his shoes... Oh! it's a dark shade of brown! 'Maybe I should run? Wait, that's stupid, I have nowhere to go! It's raining and-' your eyes looked at the door 'if he doesn't like me back he'll just leave anyway and go to his room and leave me here.'

           You felt surprised when he tugged your body towards him, wrapping his arms around your body caging your arms to your sides and  making your head thump against his chest.
           "I'm glad my feelings are reciprocated. You don't know how you just made me happy."

           "B-but...You like me? I'm fluffy! and the other girls are sexy!"

           You missed his warmth when he grubbed your shoulders and pushed you away in arms length and looked in your eyes. His gaze made you want to both squirm and melt at the same time! How is that possible?!
           "You're right... With your overall, personality and body wise how can I like you?"

           'Okay... Can I just say OUCH?'

           "With your fluff..." he took hold of your fluff in your waist and squeezed it.
